There are so many positive things Art can bring to your life. For some, it's a creative outlet that allows a magnitude of self-expression. For others, it's a burning desire to turn a vision into something tangible that can be treasured forever. Art comes in so many forms and can be done in so many ways.
There is seriously no end to the things you can create once you set your mind to it. Many people use art as a means to make a living and others do it just for the fun and creativity that comes with it. There is also another group that loves art for its therapeutic benefits. It has scientifically been shown to reduce anxiety and help people cope with the different forms of stress they face daily. This is where it has helped me the most. Whatever your desired outcome, you may want to learn but you're unsure where to start.
This is why I have created a few fun art courses to help you get your mind engaged and get creative.
For those who are looking to make a little extra money on the side, I have created several courses. Nearly every gift shop you visit these days has signed with all kinds of different sayings written or painted on them. They are all the rage. You can literally buy signs about anything.
This is a fun course and the software I teach you to use is free. Also, you can get started using scrap wood, so the startup costs for this kind of side hustle are super low. But the creativity and fun you will enjoy are definitely on the high side.
Maybe you're searching for the perfect gift for someone special. How about making them a handmade sign? This course will show you exactly how to do just that.
You can check out my course on my website. The cost to take this course is $7.00.
Below are some pictures of signs I currently make and sell. I am from Michigan, so these signs are geared toward my home state. You can literally make signs about anything you would like. There is no telling what you can build once you give sign-making a try.
I also have 2 other classes on my site. One is called Rick Cheadle's Dream Catcher Assemblage Art. This project is created from repurposed materials. I use a vinyl record album to create the one I demonstrate in the course. Anyone with a few vinyl albums to spare and a little bit of time can make this project. Also, I give very detailed instructions so there is nothing left to the imagination, well except your design. Your imagination has no limits there. It's a fun creative project that's easy to make. This course is only $9.99.
My final course is actually a 6-part course. It is based on Batik Furniture makeovers. Taking a worn piece of furniture and turning it into something fresh and new is amazing. I have found furniture that people are throwing away and turned into a work of art. This is one of my most popular kinds of projects. There are 4 different makeovers covered in this course material since the Batik look can be achieved in a few different ways.
We're glad you're here and we'd love to hear from you! Let us know what you're thinking through the form below.
